SUNDOG is an economical state-of-the-art UHF RFID tag designed for tagging rough wood assets like timber, utility poles, railroad ties, and pallets. SUNDOG solves two problems for tracking assets: 1) Adhesive tags don't stay attached to rough wood surfaces, and can't be used; 2) other tags that may attach to rough wood surfaces are expensive and time consuming to install. SUNDOG tags stay in place in rugged conditions and are collated for quick easy installation.
